Hi I’m Emma

Published March 6, 2014 by Michelle Dennis - Author

I can’t believe it! Father has just told me we will have visitors tonight. Who? The queen and her sons, that’s who! Father is so excited, although I can tell he is extremely nervous too. When I was just a baby, my mother was the queen’s maid, and friend. I don’t remember, but I have been told that the king and queen were very fond of our family. My father worked for the king as his blacksmith and was there on the dreadful night our king was brutally murdered and our queen was locked away.

So, tonight, after all these years, our queen will be rescued by the two boys I have heard stories about all my life. William and Thomas Knight are coming home to save our queen and repair our little village!

Oh, I bet they are handsome too… I need to wash my hair and clean the cottage – oh and cook some stew. I have to go… but I’ll be back soon to tell you all how it all went!

Farewell for now,

Miss Emma
